2006 HWCI World Cup Pool

Nine nations are making their World Cup debut in our pool bringing the total to 53, the number of countries in the past three World Cups. Australia is the first Oceania team in the World Cup since 1982. Seven countries (Angola, Czech Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, and Ukraine) are making their first-ever World Cup appearance. A light blue cell indicates it's the team's first-ever World Cup appearance.
