***Not-so-Deep Thoughts On Hiatus***

During my daily dump break, I had the opportunity to 
peruse the LA Times and came across Steve Sampson's 
comments about 1) not stepping down voluntarily and 
2) stating that there was nothing else he would have 
changed differently [about the lineup and the players 
on the field].

I can't believe what this ignoramus is saying.  I'm 
embarrassed to be a supporter of the U.S. National Team.  
Is this really all he could do?  There must be someone 
out there that can do better.  Sampson has to know
he's gonna get axed and Rothenberg does too.  So until 
that time comes and a replacement or interim is named,
Not-so-Deep Thoughts will be put on hold in protest of 
Sampson's status as the head coach of the U.S. National 
Soccer team.  And if this means waiting until the end of 
the tournament after the final game has been played, 
so be it.
