1998 HWCI World Cup Distribution List
NOTES:  This distribution list shows how each World Cup team fared among our predictors.  For example, 6 picked Brazil to win the Cup, 7 thought they would lose in the Final, 4 thought they would lose in the Semifinals, 2 thought they would lose in the Quarterfinals, 2 thought they would lose in the 2nd Round (Round of 16 match), and no one thought they wouldn't make it to the Round of 16.  As you can see, ten teams were picked by someone to reach the final with eight of those teams were picked to win it all. Brazil and Germany are the top dogs with 13 and 12 people, respectively, predicting they would reach the final.  While 16 people thought South Korea wouldn't make it to the Round of 16, one thought they could win it all (obviously a homer).  The only agreements among all 21 predictors is that Brazil, Germany, Italy, and Argentina would make the Round of 16 and that Iran and Tunsia would not.
