HWCI NCAA Pool History
]
Four (pending First Four games) teams are making the tournament (64 proper) for the first time since at least 1994. Cells in light blue indicate first-ever tournament appearance (53 teams). Cells in light green indicate first appearance in the proper 64 but lost in an Opening Round or First Four game. Here are the 247 NCAA Division I teams that have been in our pool (not including the loser of the 64v65 Play-In Game from 2001-2010 or First Four Games starting in 2011 which would have included Lehigh (2004), Alabama A&M (2005), and Arkansas-Little Rock (2011)).
