Eight teams are making the tournament (64 proper) for the first time since at least 1994. Cells in light blue indicate first-ever tournament appearance (50 teams). Here are the 243 NCAA Division I teams that have been in our pool (not including the loser of the 64v65 Play-In Game that began in 2001 and which would have included Lehigh (2004) and Alabama A&M (2005)).
