Issue # 0.0.0 (JC) "Opportunity to enter a bracket challenge"

Some of my friends run a TERRIFIC NCAA pool every year, and I wanted to pass along the invitation to you since I suspect you might be interested. Why enter THIS one, rather than any of the other myriad pools that are out there?

1) You can enter online and track your results on their web page. If you have a browser and PayPal, you're in business. Make SURE that you get the $$$ in no later than 3/19, since you WILL be disqualified. (There were some bad entries last year...there won't be a repeat.)

2) The pool entrants are damn cool people...and you probably know a lot of them! Although everyone enters under a nickname, you can usually guess who is who. The discussion board is hilarious -- well, at least when people post -- and it's fun to make fun of, say, me when someone like, say, Dan, who NEVER watches college hoops, can somehow kick my ass in the standings.

3) You don't have to do the math. Scott is usually very good about emailing out summary emails each night with updated tournament results and pool standings, so if you are busy and miss a night or two worth of games, you can just check your inbox and the website to see how you're doing. Towards the end, Scott publishes possible scenarios, with percentage chances of winning money, and who needs which team to win to pull off the big score.

4) Better chances to win? Well, it STILL boils down to being right. But since the pool usually has a few dozen people, you have a much better chance of winning than in the major pools with hundreds of people.

I'm not getting any kind of referral bonus (see here if you don't believe me) and I won't bother you again after this, so you're on your own to follow up. Just wanted to pass along the info...

John
