in order:
1) the play-in game shouldn't count as a game for purposes of the pool.
2) complaints about the field this year? yeah. [clears throat] 'dear ncaa. stop jobbing quality schools who don't play in a big conference. dear tv. show games from these schools, since they can play. dear so-called-major-schools. stop pussing out on playing the kent states, the hamptons, the uc irvines, the gonzagas. you only fuel their anger...and watch your season burn when you see them in the first round.'
3) big ten? overrated as hell.
4) mid-majors? see #2 above. typical american crap. we idolize champions and underdogs...but god help you if you're competent and improving.
5) irvine got jobbed. but if you were asking personally, no, i don't eat ants. that's why i skipped the 'survivor' auditions.
