+ BOMB’S AWAY! It has to be a PANDO when both goals are crushed in from outside the box leaving the poor GKs with no chance .. .. ALVARO PEREIRA was lively for URU early on testing the GK early and also punching in crosses from the L/Flank > PEREIRA must have known that he has to take his chance on the big stage after his unusual route to his national team (Uruguay to Romania!) .. ..

A physical match from the outset that needed an early goal and got one from 35YO GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST who crushed his L/Footer > U/Left corner off the net after it rammed off the R/Post > GOLAZO! DIEGO FORLAN (who else) answered just before the break when he cut back just on top of the ‘D’ and rammed his own L/Footer that knuckled right and off STEKLENBURG’s hand .. .. 

WESLEY SNEIJDER keeps finding more in his tournament and bagged another goal off a deflection from the T/Box and his R/Footer deflected > L/Right .. .. ARJEN ROBBEN was the nail in the URU coffin when DIRK KUYT’s cross found ROBBEN just above the spot and he crushed his header in off the L/Post .. .. MAXIMILIANO PEREIRA put his L/Footer > L/Left in injury time but time ran out on URU .. ..
